As I was leaving the Rainbow Warrior 1 at the end of the 1982 seal campaign, I took this last picture before sitting on a snow scooter that was going to give me a lift ashore with all my luggage. I did not know that I would not see this boat again before going to Auckland, NZ, in September 1985, where she was waiting as a wreck to be scuttled in the aftermash of the July 10 bombing.
